All the snow in New York is reminding us of Moondog trekking to his cabin upstate. He'd take the bus up to Owego, get off outside the smoke shop on North Avenue and walk 8 miles up to the cabin he'd built himself. One year he got lost in a blizzard and had to be rescued by his friend and neighbour Bucky Moon.
